Beauty of Laser Treatments

Laser treatments are non-surgical, non-invasive and frequently the popular choice among patients looking for a cosmetic boost to their skin. The Clear and Brilliant laser is one example of an effective laser treatment, a favorite of many of our patients. This laser resurfacing treatment renews and rejuvenates the skin by lightly burning off the outermost layer. The goal is to minimize pores, treat sun spots and age spots, and improve the skin’s texture. The end result is healthier, younger looking skin. This laser treatment in effect reverses the environmental impact and aging seen on the skin.

Treatments generally last anywhere from 15-30 minutes depending on the condition of the facial skin. There is no recovery or downtime afterwards and patients can resume their daily activities immediately.

The Clear and Brilliant Laser is an FDA approved medical laser that is more intense than a chemical peel but less invasive than a fraxel laser.

SculpSure: The Easiest Way to Remove Unwanted Fat is With a Laser

No Surgery. No Downtime. Lose all your Unwanted fat with the SculpSure laser. This treatment method is done by laser and the results can be seen a few weeks after the treatment.

Body contouring fat removal is done by heating up and increasing the temperature of the fat cells to destroy them. Sculpsure can be used to target fat cells on the abdomen and midsection of the body. The benefits are that this is a non-invasive, non-surgical laser treatment to eliminate unwanted fat while defining and contouring that treated area of the body.

Patients can opt for a single treatment session or multiple depending on the extent of the results they seek and their individual body type. The results are permanent. To compare Sculpsure to liposuction fat removal via surgery, click here.

How We Treat Keloid, Acne and Hypertrophic Scars

Undesirable and uncomfortable scars can be removed. Hypertrophic scars are unsightly, flat and cosmetically not pretty which is why many of our patients seek to remove them. In the case of hypertrophic scars which are caused by excessive collagen production when the skin is healing after a trauma or injury, the scar is raised and wide. Hypertrophic scars can be treated or removed by laser therapy, corticosteroid injections, cryotherapy which freezes the scar tissue, or surgical removal.

Keloid scars occur when the scar tissue grows to excess outside of the skin. Approximately three million patients are affected by keloid scars annually. They are typically raised, itchy, lumpy and flesh colored. These are cosmetically undesirable scars and for that reason alone many patients opt for medical intervention and treatment. Cryosurgery and laser treatment are the recommended procedures to treat keloid scars.
