Facial Pick-Me-Up

Dr. Robert Schwarcz, a board-certified facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgeon, helps women get a pick-me-up for their faces.

It’s a little injection with a product called Disport around the eyes. Dr. Schwarcz says it’s like Botox cosmetic, but acts faster and lasts longer to smooth fine lines around the eyes and forehead.

Then on to the cheeks, where the doc fills, plumping up the area just a little and then. He finishes with a mild acid peel to give her that sparkle.

The procedure costs between $500 and $1,500.

Dr. Schwarcz has appeared on Larry King Live:

Shannon’s Story Of Recovery

Shannon is an incredible patient with an infinite amount of drive, love, and passion for life. She is a beautiful woman with an amazing story of personal victory who touched Dr. Schwarcz’s life through her perseverance.

She was hiking in the mountains one weekend with her two friends, when alone she was attacked by a mountain lion and tried to defend herself. With the help of her friends beat the lion and sent him running off. Shannon was left with a punctured eyeball, torn up nose, lips, eyelids, and portions of her cheeks.

Dr. Schwarcz responded to the trauma call and met the patient in the operating room at UCLA Medical Center after she was helicoptered in. That first surgery took 8 hours. She had 6 more with him over the next 2 years.
