Dr. Schwarcz is board certified. He is a diplomate of the American board of Cosmetic Surgery, Oculofacial plastic surgery and Ophthalmology. He is an assistant clinical professor at UCLA Medical center, and now teaches residents at Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he teaches doctors facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery techniques. He also instructs Dermatology residents techniques in Mohs surgery, as well as cosmetic facial surgery. He has over 30 published medical articles in his field of plastic surgery including textbooks and continues to lecture on an international circuit. Dr. Schwarcz lectures both in the fields of reconstructive and cosmetic facial plastic surgery. He was recently featured on Larry King Live for his role in the total reconstruction of the face of a girl mauled by a mountain lion. Dr. Schwarcz enjoys participating in medical mission trips abroad, most recently he was involved in the CRISP foundation in Mazetenango, Guatemala performing cleft lip and palate surgery as well as other facial deformities on children.
Dr. Schwarcz recently relocated to his hometown of New York City with his wife Dr. Monica Dorin Schwarcz, an Endocrinologist and their daughter Lily.
